101 AUTOTECH ("101 AUTOTECH," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website (the "Site") to help buyers discover automotive parts and components manufactured by our member companies ("Member Companies") and to facilitate connections between buyers and Member Companies through Request for Quote ("RFQ") submissions.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you. Please read this policy carefully. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below.

2. Who We Are and What We Do

101 AUTOTECH is an industry alliance and referral platform. We do not sell products directly, we do not process payments, and we do not operate a shopping cart or checkout system on this Site. No prices are displayed, and no orders or contracts are formed on the Site.

When you submit an RFQ, you are expressing interest in a product or category. 101 AUTOTECH's role is to route that inquiry to the appropriate Member Company or companies. Any resulting quotation, negotiation, contract, payment, shipment, or after-sales service takes place directly between you and the relevant Member Company — 101 AUTOTECH is not a party to that transaction and does not handle payment or fulfillment.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you submit an RFQ or contact form, we collect:

  • Company name
  • Contact person name
  • Email address
  • Product(s) and/or quantity of interest, and any additional message or specifications you provide

We do not collect payment card information, billing addresses for checkout, or shipping details through the Site, because no purchases are made on the Site.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, the Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate properly, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use the Site. This may include your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring/exit pages. Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent to non-essential cookies through a cookie banner or similar mechanism.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Route and forward your RFQ to the relevant Member Company or companies so they can respond to your inquiry;
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;

We do not use your information to process payments, generate invoices, or fulfill orders, because those functions are not performed on the Site.

5. How We Share Your Information

5.1 Member Companies

This is important: When you submit an RFQ, the information you provide (including your company name, contact details, and the nature of your inquiry) is shared with the Member Company (or companies) that 101 AUTOTECH determines is best positioned to respond. This sharing is the core function of the Site. Once your information is shared with a Member Company, that company's own handling of your information, and any transaction that follows, is governed by that company's own policies and practices, not by this Privacy Policy.

5.2 Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to operate the Site, including:

  • Shopify, our e-commerce/website platform provider, which hosts the Site and processes certain technical and usage data on our behalf;
  • Shopify apps and other third-party applications integrated into the Site to provide functionality such as forms, analytics, or communication tools.

These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and data protection terms.

5.3 Legal and Business Reasons

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of 101 AUTOTECH, our users, or others.

5.4 No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

We retain RFQ and contact information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including routing your inquiry, maintaining business records, and complying with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information as described in Section 9.

101 AUTOTECH is based in Taiwan, and our Member Companies and service providers may be located in other jurisdictions. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 11. Please note that once your information has been shared with a Member Company as described in Section 5.1, requests concerning that company's further use of your data should also be directed to that Member Company.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for business-to-business use and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
