Story
JIM Technology was founded in Kaohsiung in December 2002 as an OEM exhaust manufacturer and pivoted in 2011 to launch its own performance brand, iPE. Today 97 percent of group revenue (NT$1.2 billion, per its company profile) comes from exports across six continents, led by North America and Asia.
iPE Valvetronic exhaust systems in T304 stainless and Grade-1 titanium have been fitted to builds including the Lamborghini Revuelto and the Porsche 992.2 GT3, with DCXP dual cross-pipe and AFC acoustic-chamber engineering verified on a Mainline dyno. Its AZ80 forged magnesium wheels, TUV certified since 2021, cut 20 to 35 percent of wheel weight versus aluminum and have become a top aftermarket choice for owners of high-end vehicles such as the Ferrari Purosangue and McLaren Senna GTR.
R&D and magnesium-wheel production run in Renwu, Kaohsiung, with exhaust manufacturing in Shenzhen and a strategic forged-wheel joint venture in Ningbo scheduled for completion in Q3 2026. Per its company profile, JIM is one of only two factories worldwide mass-producing forged magnesium wheels, serving both OEM and aftermarket.
