DAJI Motors has built bus bodies in Kaohsiung since 1975 and is, per its company profile, the only Volvo-authorized bus body assembly plant in Taiwan, working alongside the Volvo bus team and Taikoo Motors on chassis supply, sales and after-sales.
Around 150 buses leave its Gangshan and Renwu plants each year: tour coaches at every grade, highway and city buses, ceiling-glass and open-top double-deckers running in Taipei, Keelung, Tainan and Kaohsiung, and the DAJI EV 12-meter low-entry city bus. Custom builds range from VIP shuttles and caravans to Taiwan High Speed Rail maintenance cabins.
Every body is engineered in-house, from CAE rollover analysis and 3D design through steel-frame engineering, painting and pre-delivery inspection. Export programs include double-deck buses built to Hong Kong tilt-test requirements and double-deckers for South Korea, certified to Korean vehicle safety regulations.

1990Since 1990, Daji Motors has exported used vehicles from Taiwan to markets worldwide, including South America, South Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
